As the Patient Care Coordinator for Hands For Living's Lynnwood clinic, Anabel is every patient's biggest advocate in navigating the world of insurance, paperwork, and scheduling. She is passionate about empowering and educating patients to help them make the most informed choices about their healthcare.
Anabel's office background began a long time ago in a galaxy far far away, in the film and television industry, where she worked in development with producers and writers. She was introduced to the world of patient care through her husband, who is a hand therapist. After relocating together from Southern California to Seattle in 2021, Anabel decided to shift gears and start working in outpatient rehabilitation to use her skills and knack for creative problem solving in service of others. She finds great joy in reducing obstacles to patient care and supporting her team of therapists to help create an environment where patients thrive.
When she's not in the office playing "tetris" with the schedule, Anabel can be found enjoying a cozy day with her husband and dog, watching hockey, painting, playing videogames, or reading.
